Cars and Coffee

We take pride in carefully storing our fine automobiles under specially designed covers in climate-controlled garages, and we very much enjoy taking them out on the open road, but more than anything, we love sharing the results of the significant investments we’ve made in sweat and treasure with other like-minded enthusiasts. Who are we? We are the “Cars and Coffee” crowd.

Every Saturday and Sunday of every weekend there is a Cars & Coffee event being held somewhere in the United States, and there are more popping up every day. From small towns to sprawling suburbs, thousands of automotive diehards wake up with the sun and drive to our gathering place to share a cup of Joe and “talk cars” with other like-minded individuals.

Unlike formal “car shows” or “motorcycle shows” where vehicles are judged and awards given out, Cars and Coffee events allow us to show off our rides while celebrating with our automotive “friends” in a relaxed and informal family-friendly environment.

Because we are modern men living a modern men’s lifestyle, gentleman enthusiasts if you will, we don’t approach our gatherings with squealing tires, trying to hit the apex of that final curve perfectly before coming to a screeching stop in the parking lot, nor do we burn rubber and depart in a cloud of dust.

There is a time and place to race for those who are so inclined. The time is mostly of their choosing, but the place is always in a controlled environment like a test track or a race track. I’m sure there’s one relatively close to where you live.

In fact, many car and coffee events recruit local law enforcement officials to help direct traffic and forestall potentially unruly behavior. In short, we are a civilized lot.

Cars and-Coffee events have one other important distinguishing characteristic: Whether you’re driving a high-end exotic, a beloved old beater that you restored yourself or just an everyday, ordinary family vehicle, all that’s required to attend is an enthusiasm for cars and an open mind.

Ours are welcoming events that do a wonderful job of creating a sense of community among car hobbyists whose discussions sometimes devolve into heated “my car is better than your car” debates. Cars and Coffee gatherings bring car enthusiasts together, rather than drive them apart.

It’s quite simple to find a Cars and Coffee event that is convenient to your location and suited to your tastes. Just go online to the search engine of your choosing, type “cars and coffee” and your location into the search box and click search. You will most likely find you have many choices.
