Idaho Falls Resident Booked for Murder Charges in Bonneville County Jail
IDAHO FALLS — The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office confirms Jeremy White and Deena Aday are now in the custody of local law enforcement.
White, the suspect in the murder of Christin Caldwell, and Aday, the woman White fled town with, were booked into the Bonneville County Jail Friday evening.
White is held on a $600,000 bond for a second-degree murder charge. Aday is held on a $200,000 bond for an accessory to felony charge.
White and Aday appeared before a magistrate judge in Nevada Tuesday morning and both waived extradition to Idaho.
Court records show the pair fled the Idaho Falls area Nov. 9, after the murder of Caldwell, White’s longtime girlfriend. White is believed to be responsible for Caldwell’s death.
According to a probable cause statement, White and Aday were traveling through Nye County, Nevada to visit White’s father who lives there.
On Thursday, deputies from Bonneville County traveled to Nye County to retrieve both White and Aday.
The pair will be arraigned in magistrate court Monday afternoon. A preliminary hearing will then be scheduled two weeks after their arraignment.
