FBI Cracked Terrorist iPhone, Hillary’s BlackBerry May Be Next

FBI unlocks iphone Hillary Clinton BlackBerry

Hillary Clinton used a BlackBerry to access personal emails at State Department

The FBI has cracked the San Bernardino terrorist iPhone. Will this technology be deployed to finally crack the Hillary Clinton email scandal? A peek into her BlackBerry might be the key to opening up this case.

IDFSpokesperson.com reported that an Israeli company was working with the FBI. Cellbrite, a firm based out of  Petah Tikva, Israel provided a software demonstration to the FBI that encouraged them to pause their legal battle against Apple. Reports now show that the FBI was successful in cracking the iPhone enabling investigators to view its contents.  Apple fought the US Government and its court request for their assistance in their efforts to unlock the iPhone 5c model.

Cellbrite is the creator of the Universal Memory Exchanger and Universal Forensic Extraction Device (UFED) software that appears to be able to unlock iPhones and reveal the data stored beneath the sleek aluminum case. This technology was developed to help investigators retrieve data for forensic purposes. Now that the FBI has experience using this tool, terrorists and criminals may fear using their mobile devices to commit illegal activities. These tools have many concerned about privacy implications.

This technology was designed to work on multiple devices. In theory it could work on BlackBerry devices.

Reports of Hillary Clinton’s BlackBerry email obsession are a part of the ongoing investigation into her use of personal email. Hillary served as the Secretary of State under President Obama’s first term. The Secretary of State has access to sensitive State Department information including classified and top secret documents. Many of Clinton’s message found within her personal emails have been re-classified or determined to be sensitive materials. The active investigation by the FBI is looking into this case to see if US laws were broken or if any data was accessed by foreign agents.

Clinton is the Democratic presidential frontrunner engaged in a prolonged campaign against socialist candidate Bernie Sanders. Her supporters have written off the email scandals and blamed the GOP  for prolonging this scandal through media hype.

Voters have voiced their distrust of Clinton and her carefully worded denials regarding her questionable personal email use. Clinton’s favorability rating sits at 54.4%. Many conservatives are angry with her handling of the Benghazi attacks that led the the killing of a US Ambassador and several Americans.

Will the FBI need to deploy the Israeli developed software to crack Hillary’s BlackBerry, or will she provide honest transparency and allow them access? If the phone has not been professionally wiped by security experts, a wealth of data may reveal the truth about her emails and what went on during her secretive tenure as Secretary of State.
